HERE IS INFORMATION ON HAVING A BIRTHDAY AT THE CLIMBING CENTRE PENRITH

• The price per climber is $15 for a minimum of 8 climbers or $120 minimum for a table. This includes harness hire and access to all of our facilities.
• Party Bookings are for 2 hours
• Our booking times on Weekends and School Holidays are: 10:30 to 12:30, 1:00 to 3:00, 3:30 to 5:30 and 6:00 to 8:00. We close at 6 on Sundays.
• We require a $50 deposit to secure your preferred booking time and there is an aditional re-booking fee of $50 if you change your date or time.
• You will need to arrive 15 minutes before your booked time, not earlier. This will allow you time to fill out the appropriate paper work and for our staff to take you through the process for the day.
• Your booking allows your party climbing and access to our party facilities for 2 hours. This includes tables and chairs to set out your party and access to our kitchen, which has a microwave and a fridge.
• We do not have catering here so, of course, you can bring your own food and drinks, or you can:
  1. Buy drinks & snacks here
  2. Order in Pizzas from Dominos for $7.95 per pizza (please see our staff on the day)
• We ask that all food & drink please remain on the tables provided.
• We often have our party area’s booked one time slot after another and so we will give you a 15 minute call to allow you sufficient time to pack up and have the space ready for the next party.

Important information about belaying (holding of the ropes):

If any climbers are 12 years and younger or not in High School they will need to be belayed by an adult or teenager. You will need to make sure there are enough belayers for your party. The Climbing Centre does not supply belayers. A ratio of 1 belayer to every 2  climbers is sufficient. Our staff will train the belayers which you provide. PLEASE NOTE: We provide one group belay lesson only, so please ensure all of your belayers are at the party on time. We cannot start the party until the belay lesson has been done. Belaying is not a difficult job once you are shown how to do it.

• For safety and security reasons, please keep the number of people attending the party who are not belaying to a minimum.
• All climbers need to entered into or fill out one of our membership form and waiver, and this needs to be signed by a parent or guardian if the climber is under 16.
• You can download the waiver from www.climbingcentre.com.au/. Save time & have the waivers filled in and signed before you arrive.
• Party invitations can also be downloaded from our website.
• Clothing: wear light comfortable clothing & closed shoes or joggers. We also have climbing shoes, in most sizes, for hire at a discounted price. Girls cannot wear skirts under any circumstances.
• We also ask that you, please, do not give noisy blowers/clickers etc as party gifts.
